Shukubamachi Hirafuku

After a 30-year period as a castle town during the Warring States period, Hirafuku flourished as the largest stopover along the historic Inaba Kaidō trade route. After gaining popularity in Kobe, this soba restaurant relocated to the town of Sayo, where it serves a special two-color chilled soba dish featuring both refined and rustic varieties of buckwheat noodles.
